Frederick CC evangelor struck and killed on I-70
Frederick Community College evangelor John Densmore Stuart, 56 of New Market, was fatally struck on I-70 while stepping into the eastbound lanes after pulling his car onto the shoulder near the I-76 junction to check an overheated engine. Maryland State Police said he died at 6:20 p.m. as Trooper Andrew Smith prepared to assist. The incident remains under investigation.
