Frederick GOP Central Committee maps four year plan

Frederick County Republican Central Committee members, all newly elected in November, met Tuesday night to organize for the next four years. Fire sweeps dozen apartments at Hillendale complex

A two alarm fire swept through about a dozen units at Hillendale Gates Apartments in Baltimore County on Tuesday, causing 400000 dollars in damage and leaving several families homeless. No residents were hurt, and the landlord said homes would be found for the displaced. Firefighters were summoned at 11 15 a.m. and had the fire under control in about 40 minutes, according to Battalion Chief Patrick Kelly.

Woman hurt when car hits restaurant in Walkersville

A woman was slightly injured Tuesday afternoon when her car crashed into the plate glass window of Our Family Restaurant in Walkersville shortly after 2 p.m. Police said no one inside the eatery was harmed and details remain sketchy.
