Psychology Today findings on bargaining and gender study
A Psychology Today report summarizes experiments on car bargaining showing tough initial offers can lower final Monte Carlo prices by about 158 dollars, while soft initial bargaining yields little difference. It also covers a 1976 Air Force Academy study noting women cadets perform similarly to men in technical courses but not in physical fitness, and a APA survey revealing rising sexual contact between therapists and graduate students, especially among newer degrees, with few seeing benefits.
