Summers Home Recovers After Train Accident
Mr Summers of Shookstown returned from Baltimore where he had been treated for a chronic illness. He narrowly escaped a derailment when a wagon was struck by a locomotive near Frederick City Lime Works. His brother in law, Mr McKenzie, was killed. Summers, now poor and nervous, will not sue but hopes compensation may be provided by the railroad. News of the Churches reports revival at the U B church led by Rev John W. Greene with song service and preaching times, and a Holy Communion prep service at Evangelical Lutheran Church.
