Multiple Crashes Tie Up Northern Frederick County Roads
Two separate traffic accidents north of Emmitsburg and along U.S. 15 caused injuries, vehicle damage, and extended police response. Willard Basen, 18, of Necopeck Pa, faced charges for speeding in a no pass zone after a collision near Old Frederick Road. A second wreck near Emmitsburg killed a driver and left a dog tied to a fence as rescue crews evacuated and traffic was managed by Troopers.
