Frederick County approves 1949 budget record high
The Frederick County Commissioners adopt a 1949 budget of 1 470 511 62 with a 70 000 increase for general school needs. The tax rate remains 134 per 100. School appropriation set at 580 000 though the Board of Education requested 607 000.
