Forty Aviators Search for Missing Navy Flight
Nearly twenty aviators from army navy and marine units joined the hunt along the Chesapeake for three missing naval aviators believed lost after an amphibian plane left Hampton Roads for Annapolis. The broader search covered Maryland Virginia and North Carolina as night fell with no trace found and resumed at dawn.

After over four hours of deliberation the jury awarded the plaintiff 70 dollars in a suit by Stanley Ismarth against Amog Kline over damages from a Washington county accident near Cavetown last August. The jury had been tied at ten to two before settling the amount after a late ballot. The plaintiff claimed the crash was caused by careless driving. A chimney blaze at the Church of the Brethren on West Fourth Street prompted a fire call and fast response from the Junior automobile company and firefighters with ladders.
