Boonsboro man charged with lying on gun purchase appli

Philip Alan Marshall, 97, of Woonsboro, is charged by the Maryland Attorney General for false application to purchase a regulated firearm, perjury, and illegally possessing a handgun. A Papa John's driver in Germantown wrestled away a steak knife from a teenage robber after being approached at 7:40 pm on Monday. The suspect, described as a Black male about 14 or 15, fled toward Staleybridge Road. A separate Lake Forest Mall Gaithersburg Cinnabon robbery involved a 25 year old Black man, 5 feet 6 inches, 160 to 170 pounds, with a bandana and New York accent, who escaped with cash after threatening an employee with a semi automatic pistol.

Seven Sheds Broken Into in Frederick Subdivision

Frederick police investigated seven sheds broken into in the Li Bishops Glen subdivision. No items were stolen. Officers received reports Saturday from residents on Irom 20 Bier Uden Drive and the 1200 block of Whitley Court. Breakers forced locks to access sheds in the development near Shankstown Head, north of Frederick Towne Mall.

Body of missing girl found near Cajon California

Investigators say the partially burned corpse of a seven year old girl found near a San Diego County grove may be Danielle van Dam. Police arrest suspect in Damascus burglary

A Montgomery County man was arrested by police on Tuesday afternoon in connection with a burglary last week in Damascus. Montgomery County Police reported on Feb. 21 they investigated an incident on Bethesda Church Road in Damascus where a man forcibly entered an apartment, assaulted victims and ransacked the residence. Moses M. Streele, 20, of Germantown, initially fled when approached by officers and was later apprehended. He was charged with first and second degree assault and destruction of property. At the detention center he faced a Maryland State Police warrant charging first degree assault carry a concealed deadly weapon use of a deadly weapon and second degree assault.
