White House open to changes on revenue sharing plan
Maryland Governor Hughes said the White House is receptive to governors requests to modify the proposed state local commissions that would oversee the general revenue sharing program. He noted governors intend to press Congress for adjustments and stressed concerns about intrusion into local affairs while outlining Frederick County GRS receipts in 1978 and 1979.
