Quick work saves old barn after lightning strike
Banad Run near Burkittsville sees a lightning strike ignite an old barn. Firefighters from Middletown, Jefferson and Brunswick prevented major damage, saving the 1842 structure and its contents including a 1966 Chrysler convertible. Weather complications followed with power outages and freezing temps across Western Maryland.
