Madeline Lenhart and Hattie Michiel performed vocal duets and recitations. Evelyn Hooper read, Mrs James Wachter led a quartet. Woodsboro and Libertytown Women's Clubs Mark Anniversaries

The Woodsboro Women's Club celebrated its fifteenth anniversary with 50 attendees at Mrs. W C LeGore's home, featuring a husband arranged program of music talks and a quiz led by W C LeGore. Prizes went to Mrs. Elmer Smith and a tie between Mrs. Chas Hahn and Mrs. Ernest Fogle. The Libertytown Women's Club met with Mrs. O B Stone presiding, hearing color demonstrations and a reading on A Perfect Tribute, fourteen members one guest and Miss Florence Williams attended. Next meetings set for March 8 and March 9 respectively.

Re-occupy church service at St Pauls Lutheran Walkersville

Rev F R Seibel to rededicate the newly decorated auditorium at 10 45 a m Sunday with guest preacher Rev Amos J Traver of Frederick. Choir will sing Let Us Go into The House of The Lord. Improvements include caulking weatherproofing painting ceilings floors and school annex. Glen Nikirk Company did the work funded by the Ladies Working Society.

Clyde Warner and daughter Catherine visited Catherine Sherfey’s parents Paul and Mrs Sherfey. Vivian and Margaret Jinn Alexander of Edgewood visited their cousin Sirriam Schneider. Georgeier and Norman Heiner households welcomed guests Nancy Heiner. Sterling Cranmer toured with Clyde Warner group along with Mrs Leighton Schneider and children visited Mrs James Schneider in MecKinstry's. Mrs William Borland and Mrs Ira Smith visited Charles Greenholtz’s sister who remains weak. Hoops Mill hosted Mr and Mrs James Crebbs and family. Howard Wilt and family spent an evening with George Miller.
