HOW Remodeler Program extends insured warranty to remodelers
The HOW Remodeler Program, begun in January 1983, extends the nation’s only insured ten year Home Owners Warranty to registered remodelers for single and multi family homes. It guarantees workmanship and materials for one year, major structural defects and system wiring for two years, and major structural defects with a $100 deductible in years three to five. The program includes dispute resolution and potential expulsion for noncompliant remodelers.
