American Optical Names R E Powers to New Manager Post
Robert E. Powers, formerly of Frederick, is named manager cost control planning for American Optical's Optical Products Division in Southbridge Massachusetts. He will oversee budgeting, standard cost programs, variance forecasts, inventory valuation, and cost studies. Powers, a 1969 BBA in Accounting graduate with highest honors, lives in Southbridge with his wife Claire.

Gleason Signs Appropriations and Pet Disease Bill
