Junior Prom at Hood College Ends in Crash
At Hood College a junior prom ended with a collision as the Speak car attempted to pass a Baxter roadster. Mrs Speak and Mrs Johnston were bruised. Mr Speak and Dr Baxter escaped unharmed. State official Herman investigated, stating the Speak car cut in front causing the crash into a tree and a waterway. Dr Baxter drove to a garage for repairs while Mrs Johnston was hospitalized. A benefit play for Adams town school was moved to Kreig's Hall due to stage limits, with many local names listed among attendees and performers.
