Pediatrician in Los Alamos Charged in Immoral Transport of Girls
FBI agents arrested Dr Malcolm McDonald Cook in Los Alamos New Mexico on three counts of transporting girls for immoral purposes. The 48 year old former St Louis physician faces charges for moving a 9 or 10 year old girl and another minor to Arizona and Colorado with trips to Grand Canyon in 1953. He is held on five thousand dollar bond. Cook led the Los Alamos County Medical Society and had served as medical consultant to the county draft board. He is an aviator and Civil Air Patrol medical officer. The case links to multiple trips including September October 1953 involving girls aged 9 to 10.
