Fire destroys barn in Jefferson. 250 firefighters respond
More than 250 volunteer firemen from six companies battled a pre dawn barn blaze in Jefferson for over four hours before gaining control. The fire behind Ingram's Service Center on Lander Road destroyed the barn. James Ingram, owner, recently had the barn appraised at about $320000. The Ceramics Shop owner could not be reached.
