Daniel Josiah Thomas husband of Alice Witter Thomas died suddenly at his residence in Frederick County on Tuesday morning. He born January 21 1894 near Buckeystown was a lifelong farmer, charter member of the Frederick County Farm Bureau, former president of the Farmers Cooperative Association, and long serving director. He held life and 50 year memberships in local agricultural groups and was a devoted member of the community.
