Pittsburg February 15. In the graft cases against Bankers Jennings and F A Grien both pleaded nolo contendere to conspiracy to bribe. Leslie, charged jointly with the same offense, declared he would fight the charge.

In Trenton New Jersey February 16 Walter Connors nine years old son of Patrolman Charles Connors was decapitated when he leaped from a fast moving freight train near South Trenton as he returned from Morroville Pennsylvania with a companion who disappeared after the incident and is believed to have been carried to New York
Mrs. Mary Woodfork, an elderly woman, was arrested in Indianapolis for operating a baby farm. Five infants were given some kind of dope and one is in a dying condition. Helpers described administering hot baths to revive infants affected by the drugs.
New York Feb 15. George Truax a carpenter of Oceanic New Jersey was shot and killed by his wife. The woman then shot herself with wounds thought to be fatal. Mel Truax had suffered from bad trouble for some time. The couple had two children.
