The Frederick Civinette Club met February 1 at Watsons Restaurant with 25 members and one guest. Pat Pearl spoke on Goodwill Industries rehabilitation services for the handicapped. Leona Cordyack was reinstated and Margaret Moody inducted. Jayceettes week is February 13–19, with exhibits planned at Mount Airy Library and events like a fashion show and bingo. The Mount Airy group supports CPR classes, the Christmas party, nursing home visits, and fundraisers for the American Cancer Society. Citizens Nursing Home Auxiliary met February 3 with 25 members. three new members joined and a April luncheon planned. The next Civinettes meeting is March 1 at Watsons, and the next Auxiliary meeting is March 3 at 9:30 a.m.
Frederick area results from last week's regular game show winning pairs Mr and Mrs Jack Jones and others. An upcoming regular game is scheduled Thursday at 12:30 p.m. at the old armory. Frederick players also note results from the open pairs club championship with multiple prize placements. A regular game is set for tonight at 7:15 at the American Legion.
