Interchange Plan Near East South Street Eyed by City and County
City and county officials, with a State Roads Commission representative, agree on a general layout for an East South street interchange near the Grove lime plant. The plan involves both city and county land, changes to Grove Lime entrance and Shaw Road, and requires a four party agreement among city, county, railroads, and roads groups before approval. The city seeks a fully built road at the interchange to avoid early maintenance. The county addressed Wolfsville school funding, New Market fire department plans, and a potential $1,000 donation pending organization and future funding handling.
