Dangerous Load of Dynamite Spills On Mountain Road
A Bulerton merchant's wagon carrying four boxes of dynamite and other goods spilled on a mountain road between Myerartile and Preder see. The barrel rolled off the wagon frightening the horses, which dashed down the slope. Four dynamite bases and two boxes opened, scattering contents along the route but causing no explosions. The horses were recovered three miles away near Mr Dinterman’s residence, where another wagon and help were provided to collect the scattered items.
