Train collision at muffin way crossing injures driver
Douglas Steinberg a 33 year old Westminster man escaped serious injury after a train hit a Ford pickup at the Muffin Way crossing. He told deputies he edged onto the tracks after seeing the locomotive and backed off before officers arrived. He was treated for a head injury at Frederick Memorial Hospital. The incident follows a prior fatal crossing at the same location earlier last week.
