Spencer trial resumes in Frederick County court
Testimony resumed this morning in the Frederick County Circuit Court trial of Elmer Spencer Jr. accused of killing year old Christopher Ausherman. State's evidence will come from convenience store employees tied to a scheme to lure the boy to a deserted dugout at McCurdy Field. Police search witnesses and blood stain experts are expected to testify. Defense argues police questioned another possible suspect inadequately. The trial began last Tuesday with jury selection and is slated to conclude next week. Spencer, 4%, faces felony murder and multiple sexual offense charges.
