New Market couple appeals zoning ruling to Maryland Court of Special Appeals
A New Market couple, Gordon and Isabella Kindness, filed Feb 8 with the Maryland Court of Special Appeals after losing a January 1982 zoning decision in Frederick County. Their attorney argues the town's antique shop definitions are vague, potentially forcing changes to downtown regulations. A hearing date is not yet set, but a February 15 criminal hearing looms in Frederick District Court with a later trial scheduled for April 12.
