Plan U S 40 Improvements Near Hancock West Maryland
The House Ways and Means Committee approved a bill allowing state agencies to develop parks and access roads along U S 40 in Allegany and Garrett counties from Hancock to the Pennsylvanias line. The plan includes up to 26 acre roadside areas developed by the Department of Forests and Parks with land costs estimated under 10 000 dollars per site.
