Federal probes racial bias at Frederick County Social Services
U S officials will investigate charges of racial discrimination by the Frederick County Department of Social Services. The Maryland state Human Relations Commission says federal involvement arises from HEW funds and interest in social services. Local and state agencies have been notified. an affirmative action plan is in preparation within two weeks.
