Bolivar and surrounding area residents hosted and visited relatives and friends this week. Douglas Marshall and Helen Beck, with Mrs. Nelle Steadman and Betty Drew, visited in Bolivar and Leesburg area homes. Ernest Webb of Baltimore spent time with his brother C A Webb while hospitalized at Kings Daughters Hospital in Martinsburg. John Paul Jones Jr and Mrs Jones from Norfolk are on a ten day leave with mothers Rhoda Jones in Harpers Ferry and Frances Chew in Brunswick. Milton Menefee and family, Washington DC, and Mrs. Robert Menefee were also visiting relatives this weekend. Olga Ei and daughter Lydia Ei, along with Rommie, were noted visitors too.

Other officers include Mrs Lyman Wilson first vice president Mrs Malcolm Burman second vice president Mrs James Pickett treasurer Mrs Leo Chrobbot chaplain and Mrs Leonard Horman guard. Dr Edward Wall plans to open an office in Walter V Bennett home after his goods were destroyed in a Kentucky warehouse fire. Engagement announced between Autrey Ann Trott and Bernard Gosnell with no wedding date set. Mrs Raymond Grimes also noted in the update.
