Frederick man gets 15 day jail for AWOL from work release
Frederick County Jail sergeant reports Roscoe A. Blank, 50, of East Seventh Street, was sentenced to 15 days after leaving the work release program while serving a 90 day loitering sentence. Blank returned Sept. 10, 1979, claiming drinking contributed to his behavior, and Judge Samuel W. Barrick based the sentence on his prior record. Additional notes mention John Stephen Bowie, 18, held on strong arm robbery charges, and dismissal of theft charges against Michael R. Dore due to witness inconsistency and property owner absence.
