Grand Jury Returns 10 Indictments in February Term
The Frederick County grand jury returned ten indictments against seven persons in the February term. Defendants include Leslie Themost Matthews 44 of Brunswick accused of shooting Ambrose Morris Jr. at Cooper's Tavern, with bond set at 5000. Earl Edward Kolb Jr 31 of Oklahoma and Frederick County faces one indictment with two counts of forgery and uttering. Claude Samuel Bowers 18 Route 1 Taneytown is charged with bastardy. Judge Anderson commended the grand jury for its report and dismissed the members until further notice. Clerk Ellis C Wachter dismissed the grand jury at 4:30 p m Tuesday.
