Mardi Gras '67 Masks Music And Fun At Hotel Ball
The Francis Scott Key Hotel hosted the sixth Mardi Gras Ball with about 1300 attendees across three ball rooms and a sing along in another. Queen Alison Stup led 33 princesses at 8 pm after a court procession. decorations honored Japan and New Orleans. Prizes went to Alice and the Mad Hatter, Mary Mild and Mr Clean, Jeannie and escort, with costumes by Tom and Mary Biffle and Dan Klem Jr. Proceeds benefit handicapped children and the Steimer House restoration.
