Frederick Bridge Club Winners at Holiday Inn

Frederick bridge players held a weekly game at the Holiday Inn. North-South winners were Manuel M. Frederick Memorial Hospital adds beauty service for patients

Frederick Memorial Hospital Auxiliary launches a weekly beauty program led by certified hairdresser Mrs. Robert Knill to lift patient morale. Miss Barber Named WHS Homemaker of Tomorrow

Jan A. Barber, a Walkersville High School senior, was named the 1964 Betty Crocker Homemaker of Tomorrow. She scored highly on a December 3, 1963 written test, earning a $1,500 state scholarship and a Britannica prize, with her paper advancing to national finals.

Copying Station Aids Civil War Centennial Work

Members of the Civil War Centennial committee plan observe Monocacy in July using the Docustal machine in the C Burr Artz Library.
