Montevue man jailed for razor attack on county woman
John Paul Dixon, 61, of Montevue, was sentenced to one year in the Maryland House of Correction after pleading guilty to slashing the throat and face of Mrs. Alice M. Green at the county home. Green, who bore a long scar on her throat and a deeper chin wound, kept the blow from penetrating further, aided by blocking her attacker and her own defense. Dixon claimed the incident was a joke, while officers testified he was found in his room with a bleeding wrist from the razor.
