Boys Admit Murder Of Loveless In Loudoun County Case
In Leesburg Virginia two 16 year old boys Hoback of Bluefield West Virginia and Porter of Brentwood Maryland pleaded guilty at arraignment and faced trial by judge J R H Alexander for the murder of Ward Loveless 51 a Washington attorney. The body was found November 24 1941 stuffed in a china closet at the Loveless country home after a struggle. A missing green coupe and a Cumberland Kentucky car description tied the suspects to the crime scene. Both youths are held in the Leesburg jail and were defended by State Senator Aubrey G Weaver.
