Linganore High School Pep Band Debuts This Year
Linganore High School introduces a student led Pep Band at football and basketball games led by senior drum majors Joe Hanson and Megan Gilmore. The group features over 50 members for football and about 25 for basketball, with plans to grow again next year. Members select music, arrange practices, and coordinate with cheerleaders, performing between plays at football games and between quarters at basketball games. The band is a club meeting during activity periods, and aims for uniform attire while continuing as a student run group.
