Walkersville man named chairman of 1996 MS Walk
Jay Main of Walkersville will chair Frederick's 1996 MS Walk on April 14 at 9 a.m. from Gov Thomas Johnson High School. The 50th MS Society fundraiser expects 300+ walkers and volunteers in a 15K route past Baker Park and through downtown. Proceeds support MS research and related services.

Frederick Fraternal Order of Eagles 1067 hosted its 68th anniversary with President Sarah Vaughn presiding. State President June Routzahn received a money corsage, Frances Cook named State Mother 1995-96, new members Elizabeth McMichael Pamela Marshall Tammy Shaw and Ellen Munson welcomed. Visitors from Wick Auxiliary 1136 attended. kettles raised 68215 for the Salvation Army. heart fund chairwoman Clara Wamsley announced a Feb 10 dance at the Eagles home from 9 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. with Roll The Dice providing music. Past presidents present received certificates, corsages and roses. Next meeting set for Feb 8 at 7:30 p.m.
