Voter Registration Set In Middletown Ahead Of Elections
Middletown conducts voter registration at the town office on West Main Street from noon to 8 p.m. Citizens aged 18 and up within the town limits, and United States citizens, may register. A second registration date is scheduled for Monday February 18, same hours, to qualify for the April 7 biennial election featuring a burgess and two four year commissioners.

Pennsylvania man charged after Frederick City scuffle
A 21 year old Pennsylvania man, Donald E. Loveridge of Latrobe, was arrested by Frederick City Police officer Pvt. Robert H. Cain after a scuffle on East South Street. Police say a handgun was seen in the vehicle during the stop. Loveridge faces multiple charges including driving while intoxicated and assault. He was jailed as the incident at 5 06 p m remained under investigation.
