Lewistown Lights Up After Community Ceremony In Lewistown
Lewistown celebrated for the first time with street lights after a dedication at the Community Hall by the Lewistown Citizens Association Inc. Approximately 200 attended as Rev Claude Ridenour offered the invocation and speeches by William E Warren and Sherman Bowers highlighted the event. The switch was thrown by C M Ramsburg at 9 25 p m with light refreshments served afterward and many residents listed as contributors to the light fund.
