Calumet To Enter Preakness Deliberately Skips Early Nominations

Calumet Farm announced it would not nominate for the Preakness at first and plans to post more funds later if its three year olds, led by Citation, prove ready at Pimlico. Trainer Jimmy Jones noted multiple potential runners from the stable as Belmont and Derby dates loom. The decision aims to keep options open under the supplementary entry system.
