Two Drunk Drivers Fined in Peoples Court
Two men faced drunken driving charges in Peoples Court on Wednesday night. Harry Beach and Dave Morgan were found guilty on driving counts with fines. Beach charged as under the influence and Morgan for reckless driving with additional drunken driving counts. Beach’s sentence was suspended for weather and prior good record. Morgan contested intoxication but admitted to three beers. Witnesses described Beach’s car stopping near Market and Patrick streets and Morgan's reckless turn on East Patrick Street. A separate speeding case saw Winpigler fined for 50 mph alleged in error, while Louis Myers Jr. paid a 35 fine for an August 1954 parking violation.
