A Maryland bank statement from the Franklin Savings Bank of Frederick, dated January 1, 1893, notes undivided profits and assets. On January 30, 1895, William H. Nicodemus, bank secretary, swore before Justice W. E. Johnson that the statement was taken from the bank’s books and is correct to the best of his knowledge.

Dover Delaware February 2 Joseph P Comegys ex Chief Justice of this state died at his residence on the Public Square after a long illness surrounded by his daughter and brother He was born near Dover and studied law under John M Clayton serving in the state legislature then as United States senator and finally Chief Justice from 1576 to 16 He retired on a pension for life and his death ends a noted Delaware legal career.
