Community service program aids victims with equipment loans
A Maryland based community service plan will provide loans of wheel chairs beds bed tables and oxygen equipment to heart disease victims. In Cumberland bonds worth 600 900 were sold by Harris Trust and Savings Co of Chicago with F W Craigie Co of Richmond Va on January 31. Proceeds support the 8 million Cumberland Ridgeley flood control project and interest totals 213 980 60. Other bids came from Alex Brown & Sons and Mercantile Safe Deposit and Trust Co of Baltimore.
