CARE Feed Plan Bridges Aid to Italy's Elderly and Poor
CARE's largest food distribution since 1951 is planned for Italy under the 1958 59 Food Crusade led by Rev Bruce H McDonald. It includes 53 15 million sacks of flour 7 3 million pounds of powdered milk 6 5 million pounds of cheese and 1 5 million pounds of cereal meal for over 1 0 0 0 0 0 people monthly for a year. CARE also will ship 250 000 extra packages of food to needy families especially in southern provinces.
