Ted Garber, 17, earned a private pilot license after four summers and 4000 dollars of training, plans college then Hawaii and South America flights, and ultimately aspires to be U.S. president. He trains with seven pilots, cites family aviation legacy, and funds his lessons through work and a benefactor. He is active in school activities and wants politics.
