A chaotic prank at Nu shot and almost A Bagby in Colombia led to the death of a student named Ea F. Roquela, after companions pretended to threaten a victim who was ordered to raise his hands. Roques then drew a revolver and shot, killing the victim instantly as Roquela collapsed. The incident stunned the campus.
About twelve Hungarian refugees are reported arriving in Hamburg aboard a Grat Waldersee ship. The migrants were previously settled in the south and are now recorded as part of ongoing refugee movements through the port.

Shipments listed include Elwood Indiana Martinsburg Pennsylvania New Haven Ohio and Joliet Illinois to Vancouver British Columbia.
In Annapolis a court martial proceeding against Midshipman Trenmor Col Ba Jr ends as the court reaches a verdict for the alleged hazing of Midshipman Jordone P Kimbrough by forcing him to stand on his head. The navy department will publish the decision later.
