Road widening plan eyed for Frederick to
A series of committees from the Real Estate Board and Chamber of Commerce study widening the Frederick to Mendereen’s Corner road to about twenty four feet. Proposals call for four foot shoulders on each side to improve safety on the fifteen to sixteen mile stretch. The project aims to ease heavy traffic and attract travelers to the Monterey battlefield government reservation plans pending Congress.
