Threatening Letter Sparks FBI Interest in Ex-President Case
Washington AP reports a man named Brink threatened President Eisenhower in a letter from the Fauve! Bureau of Prisons official James V. Bennett. The letter asked for a demand on 23.0 money and stated a plan to remove to Washington on an extortion charge. Brink is held in county jail on depositing threatening letters in U.S. mail and faces removal to D.C. for charges.
