Lancaster, December 20. Scott Housekeeper, a young farmer, climbed onto an engine to fix a defect. His rope caught in the balance wheel, tearing off a leg and throwing him clear. A companion failed to aid him. Housekeeper applied a tourniquet to slow bleeding and was taken by auto to a hospital but died en route.
