Chemical mishap injures five at High's Frederick plant
High's officials blamed human error for a Wednesday chemical mishap at the Frederick plant that sent five employees to the hospital after a 350 gallon mix of Diversey Wyndette 3858 and Interest cleaners produced toxic vapors. Frederick police seek information on 13 year old Tiffoney Goines missing since December 12 from her mother’s apartment at John Hanson housing. Last seen in an alley with friends near Gov. Thomas Johnson Middle School student hasn’t attended school in two weeks amid reported sightings. She is about 4 foot 5 inches, with braids, blue sweatpants, white sneakers, a white hooded sweatshirt, white jacket and brown gloves. Bond set for local man facing drug charges

Nichols, 42, was held on a 58000 bond after a traffic stop on U S 40 at Hoke Place revealed PCP and marijuana, syringes, a concealed knife, and a pint of gin in the car. He faces possession with intent to distribute PCP and marijuana, maintaining a common nuisance, carrying a concealed weapon, and traffic violations.
