Hopkins To Cut Time For Medical Students Program
Hopkins announces a five year medical curriculum allowing admitted students to skip one to two years. About 75 students will enter the second year next fall, reducing the typical four year path by offering 40 week years rather than 32 to 38 weeks. Jefferson program links liberal arts with medical training
A historical proposal aims to restructure medical education by integrating basic science with early liberal arts learning to emphasize active acquiring of knowledge over passive fact absorption.
