War fraud suits start in month
Washington December 22 Civil or criminal suits against the United States Harness Company of Rawson West Virginia will be ready for institution within thirty days, according to special assistant to the attorney general Colonel Henry T Andersen. The government will also sue Bridgeport Brass Company unless a settlement is reached, and action against Thomas Roberts & Co of Philadelphia for large purchases of government surplus canned meat is planned. The announcements came during Keller impeachment hearings against Attorney General Daugherty.
